Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 + MyShare Equity Program

Job Purpose: The Warehouse Business Analyst is responsible for supporting and driving system capabilities and enhancements into RJW's WMS and related technologies. The Warehouse Business Analyst will support the user community in resolving incidents, service requests and problems, and develop new capabilities and functionality required by the business. The Warehouse Business Analyst will translate needs into technical and operational requirements so that functional development can be configured, documented, and delivered. The Warehouse Business Analyst must be highly tuned in to industry best practices and advances regarding WMS and related technologies. The Warehouse Business Analyst is a business partner delivering technical solutions to meet business needs, with direct supervisory responsibilities for a team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Engage with our WMS technology partners including our WMS vendor.
• Analyze and define customer requirements.
• Lead daily support of all WMS activities and related technology integrated with the WMS such as, but not limited to, RF and RF Technology, Printers, Small Parcel Software (TechShip), Cubiscan, Integrations with other transactional systems such as Great Plaines and Transportation Management System, and all other applications integrated with the WMS.
• Develop, configure, and enhance WMS related applications of integrated solutions and projects. This will include in-house development activity as well as third party packaged applications.
• Find and integrate new technologies with the WMS, develop best practices on how to use the technology and implement with the team.
• Develop process improvements with technology enhancements and deliver to the operation.
• Lead assigned projects or tasks, including design and code reviews.
• Drive positive business results by building an engaged and talented team.
• Manage a team of direct reports.

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in transportation management, to include a combination of any of the following: transportation analysis, planning, operations or managing transportation management systems and super users.
• Knowledge of supply chain technology with an emphasis on Transportation Systems and related technologies.
• Experience in creating / maintaining as-built documentation owned jointly across a multitude of levels.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of logistics center operations with basic understanding of warehousing, inventory, order fulfillment, customer service, and transportation.
• Experience managing people and projects.
• Strategic planning, budgeting, and operations experience within a transportation management department.
• The ability to translate technical issues into everyday language.
• Synapse (WMS), McLeod (TMS), Cubiscan, TechShip, and SmartLink experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience writing basic SQL queries
• Experience working with Oracle, SQL, and Linux databases

Language Skills Sets:

• Must be able to communicate, read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.

Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment will range from quiet to moderately loud.
