On your day to day

We are looking for a talented and driven Junior Backend Engineer to join our brand-new Internal Tools Team. This team is the backbone of our operational efficiency, responsible for building the Backoffice infrastructure and integrating systems that power our Support, Operations, and Business departments.

As a founding member of this team, you will have a direct impact on how the company functions, building tools that automate complex workflows and bridge the gap between our core product and business needs.

In this role, you will develop and maintain internal APIs and backoffice services that support our Support and Business teams, while implementing and managing third-party integrations such as Salesforce, Zendesk, Stripe, and internal administrative dashboards. You will design workflows that automate manual processes, helping improve the speed and quality of our internal operations.

You will work closely with stakeholders across the company to understand operational pain points and translate them into practical technical solutions. You will also take part in the full development lifecycle, from system design and implementation to deployment and monitoring, gaining hands-on experience with production systems.

Requirements

What Will Make You Stand Out?

• Tech Foundation: B.Sc. in Computer Science / Software Engineering
• Outstanding Graduate (GPA over 87) with at least 1 year of SW development experience
• The "Maker" DNA: A strong affinity for building tools and a "product mindset" – you care about how your code helps people do their jobs better.
• Backend Proficiency: Strong knowledge of at least one backend language (Node.js, Python, Go, etc.).
• API Enthusiast: Good understanding of RESTful APIs and how to integrate with external services.
• Database Skills: Experience writing SQL queries and designing data schemas.
• Independent Learner: Ability to dive into existing codebases and new documentation to find solutions independently.

Advantages

• Previous experience in a "Customer Facing" or "Operations" role – an advantage (helps you understand the users of your tools!).
• Experience with Frontend frameworks (React/Vue) – since many internal tools require simple UI.
• Familiarity with Low-code/No-code integration platforms.
