    Job Description

    To ensure our success in new territories, it is imperative that our retail selling ceremony and commercial processes and consistently are successfully executed and overall customer- and brand experience are at the highest quality levels possible.

    As an International Retail Trainer, you are responsible for implementing our training & development programs for our stores in new territories, and you also further develop our product knowledge and selling skills in existing markets. You have an international responsibility as brand ambassador and visit our markets regularly to ensure our store managers and employees are fully equipped to deliver our customers the perfect store and Rituals’ experience!

    For 40 hours per week, give new meaning to the words 'aim big, act small' and you:

    • Travel to our markets in Asia and the Middle East (~ every 2 months, for several days at a time)
    • Implement international training programs throughout Asian markets, including (cultural) localization and translation of content.
    • Ensure the continuous development of the international training programs through critical evaluation, store team insights and supported by data from Mystery shop, our digital learning platform and KPI dashboards.
    • Be the first point of contact for local Lines of Business, local trainers and partners to align training priorities and execution.
    • Develop, implement and organize train the trainer sessions for local training teams and strengthen the training community regionally.
    • Train shop teams of new markets or partners towards and shortly after shop opening(s), as well as local office teams, and marketing/press agencies where relevant.
    • Show talent and customer obsession by being present in the shops and at the Rituals counters.
    • Show expertise on the Feel-Good Experience, product knowledge and treatments.

    Qualifications

    This is you

    High on energy, low on ego and with a little bit of humor. Your main ingredient is having a passion for people and helping them to grow. You live the Rituals brand, and you are contagious in your passion for the brand and the shop floor. You love to connect to people – customers as well as your trainees. On top of it you have:

    • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
    • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the role of international trainer, preferably in an (international) retail environment.
    • Experience or affinity in the cosmetics or beauty industry is highly desired.
    • Flexibility to travel to our local markets around the globe (~ every 2 months, several days at a time).
    • International experience and high cultural awareness, preferably with in-depth understanding of Asian and Middle Eastern cultures and customer behavior.
    • Excellent and inspirational communicator and presenter; fluency in English is mandatory, other languages are preferable.
    • The ability to inspire and engage people, bring out the best in others, and create meaningful connections.
    • Go-getter, self-starter, hands-on mentality and out of the box thinker.
