As a Financial Controller of DACH you will be part of the DACH and Eastern Europe Financial Control team. You will be working on financial month-end procedures in close collaboration with finance operations colleagues who execute most of the journal entries. You will also be responsible for the preparation of the statutory financial statements, external audits, the tax compliance (e.g. VAT) and many more interesting topics. You report into the Head of Financial Control DACH and Eastern Europe. The Financial Control DACH and Eastern Europe team exist of 5 persons including your manager and yourself. The DACH and Eastern Europe region is Rituals biggest region at this moment and consists of Switzerland, Austria Germany, Poland, Romania, Hungary and soon even more countries!
In this role you will be in close contact with local office staff and local advisors. You will be doing the analytical review of the P&L and balance sheet, investigating variances and validating the numbers together with stakeholders from the business.
Within the finance department, you work together with approximately 60 ambitious colleagues (of which 20 colleagues in our Financial Control sub-team) from more than 7 nationalities.
