<p></p> <p>Riot’s Enterprise Technology organization ensures Rioters have what they need to unlock their full potential by delivering secure, scalable, and efficient technology solutions. The Finance Technology team focuses on modernizing financial systems, optimizing workflows, and ensuring long-term sustainability of Riot’s finance ecosystem.<br><br>As a <strong>OneStream Application Engineer (Finance Tech)</strong>, you will be responsible for the <strong>administration, operation, and governance of Riot’s OneStream platform. </strong>This role focuses on <strong>system administration, upgrades/out of the box module implementation, ETL data flows, data governance, reporting automation, documentation, and user enablement,</strong> ensuring the platform is stable, well-governed, and effectively adopted by the Finance organization. You will partner closely with a senior application engineer who will lead technical system development and integrations, contributing operational expertise and execution excellence.<br><br></p> <h2><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Manage day-to-day OneStream <strong>system administration</strong>, including environments, access controls, upgrades, patching, and release readiness</li> <li>Support and <strong>operate ETL data pipelines</strong> from upstream systems, including monitoring loads, troubleshooting issues, validating data, and maintaining data flow documentation</li> <li>Apply and support data governance standards across metadata, hierarchies, and approval workflows</li> <li>Configure dashboards, Cube Views, and standardized reports to <strong>automate recurring financial reporting </strong>and reduce manual effort</li> <li>Provide <strong>operational support for Finance users</strong> through ticket resolution, office hours, and day-to-day troubleshooting</li> <li>Develop and maintain <strong>playbooks, runbooks, and user guides</strong> to support consistent and scalable platform usage</li> <li>Participate in <strong>UAT, regression testing, and post-release validation</strong> to ensure system stability</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Required Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience</li> <li>4-6+ years of experience supporting enterprise financial systems or EPM platforms (e.g., OneStream, Hyperion, SAP BPC)</li> <li>2-3+ years of hands-on experience administering or supporting OneStream, including environments, upgrades, metadata, and security</li> <li>Experience supporting ETL processes, financial data pipelines, or system integrations</li> <li>Working knowledge of SQL and business rules for troubleshooting, validation, and minor enhancements</li> <li>Experience with Master Data Management concepts, including hierarchies, metadata governance, and approval workflows</li> <li>Strong documentation and communication skills, with experience creating user-facing guides and operational playbooks</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Certified OneStream Professional (OCP) or progress toward certification</li> <li>Experience supporting system upgrades and release management</li> <li>Familiarity with Workday, Coupa, Concur, or similar finance systems</li> <li>Understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and audit-related controls in financial systems</li> <li>Experience working in a fast-paced, operationally complex environment<br><br></li> </ul> <p><em>For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and decision-making that prioritizes your fellow Rioters, who are the customers of your work.&nbsp; Being a dedicated fan of games is not necessary for this position!<br></em><em><br></em></p> <h2><strong>Our Perks:</strong></h2> <p>Riot focuses on work/life balance, shown by our open paid time off policy and other perks such as flexible work schedules.
