We are on the lookout for motivated, dependable, and dedicated caregivers to provide exceptional direct care and support to our patients. The Registered Nurse assesses, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.

Complete the Nursing Assessment documenting patient information, medications, medical history, vital signs, and skin assessment. Employ principles of communication and interviewing techniques.
Responsible for working with children, adolescents, adults, and senior populations. Must be familiar with common diagnoses with these population groups and familiar with specific assessment and interviewing skills for each population group.
Call physician for admission and medication orders. Complete Medication Reconciliation by patient/family/pharmacy verification.
Report any signs or symptoms of infection, illness, medical instability to physician after assessment.

Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:

Education: Graduate from an accredited RN program; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years experience in a psychiatric facility preferred.

Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Georgia State Board of Nursing.

Additional Requirements: Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications.  CPR and CPI certification and successful completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior including restraint and seclusion policies, within 30 days of employment, and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.  Must have a working knowledge of the DSM-V, Mental Status Exam, and the Addiction and Recovery field.

Compensation:
