As Director of Outpatient Services, you will be an integral part of our treatment team, providing continuous care, supervision, and positive role modeling to patients across various age groups from adolescents to geriatrics. Represent the Outpatient Services Department at the executive level and in consultation with the Medical Director, plan, develop and implement formal and organized clinical services programs as part of the therapeutic environment.
Develop and organize programs of clinical services based on specialized patient populations.
Maintain an awareness of community and market-related activities, which includes knowledge of the activities of other providers, needs of local payers and the political climate related to mental health.
Provide a broad vision in the development of programs and the evaluation of current services offered.
Strategically solve problems that encompass the larger view of the organization, and establish goals by utilizing an understanding of organizational dynamics in planning and problem solving.
Remain current on all clinical techniques, and provide direction to staff and facility personnel.
Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, social work, or related mental health field; Master’s Degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in psychiatric/mental health field, with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in advanced clinical/management practice
License: Appropriate Georgia state licensure in mental health.
Additional Requirements: A strong knowledge of The Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA regulations, and patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.

Compensation:
This is a full-time role and the expected compensation range is $52,000 - $56,000 annually. We’re eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level. Join us as our Director of Outpatient Services.

Since opening in 2017, Ridgeview Institute Monroe has treated over 15,000 patients in programs for specialized populations that include adolescents, adults-including a specialized women’s program, and older adults. Ridgeview Institute Monroe uses Evidence-Based Treatment approaches to assist patients in achieving their treatment goals.
As we continue to grow to meet the changing needs of our communities, RIM marked a five-year anniversary by opening a new unit with 23 additional psychiatric beds for adult programs in 2022. We expanded by adding an additional 11 treatment beds in 2025.
Our hospital now operates 122 inpatient psychiatric beds with a full continuum of behavioral healthcare services.
