Senior Site Manager – MS Offsite

Position Profile

The Senior Site Manager supervises the day‑to‑day operations and staff of Managed Services (MS) sites. Approximately 80% of time is dedicated to management duties, with no more than 20% on production equipment operation. This role develops, implements, and reviews operational procedures, manages invoicing activities, and ensures customer expectations are consistently met. The position requires a high degree of customer interaction and is responsible for $80K in monthly services revenue at a single site.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Routinely demonstrates and fosters a helpful, positive work culture.
  • Encourages and builds strong relationships; communicates effectively with coworkers and vendors.
  • Acts as the public image of the company, adhering to RICOH’s Code of Ethics.
  • Ensures effective implementation and management of RICOH Service Excellence.
  • Achieves shift profitability by supervising the proper use of company materials and supplies.
  • Manages production labor percentages according to company standards for production and quality control labor.
  • Meets quality and deadline standards through effective job scheduling practices.
  • Handles formal daily customer contact in MS and as needed in BDS/LDS environments.
  • Provides training on workflow processes and machine operations.
  • Ensures operational quality by supporting goals related to audit and deadline compliance.
  • Increases employee retention by meeting turnover and tenure goals.
  • Maintains efficient workflow by holding team members accountable for quality and efficiency.
  • Improves operational consistency by implementing company performance and operations procedures.
  • Ensures proper staffing by aligning employee skills with production demands.
  • Facilitates resolution of pricing, order, and invoicing issues in collaboration with the sales department.
  • Motivates team members and provides timely recognition of accomplishments.
  • Clearly communicates expectations and consequences; provides training, cross‑training, coaching, counseling, direction, and performance evaluation to improve output and quality.
  • Completes site reports and other required paperwork.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Education, Experience & Certifications)

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in a related field.
  • Experience delivering classroom or informal training sessions.
  • Experience operating advanced machinery and performing complex production tasks.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to define goals and prioritize realistic objectives.
  • Proficiency with PC and standard business software applications.
  • Ability to stay updated on current technology and market trends through relevant publications.

Working Conditions, Mental & Physical Demands

  • Work performed in a typical office environment with standard lighting, ventilation, temperature, and noise levels.
  • Responsibilities include interpreting and applying complex material and conveying diverse information.
  • Physical effort may include standing, walking, bending, reaching, stretching, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires moderate dexterity, including use of calculators, keyboards, hand tools, and general eye/hand coordination.
