About you

 

You are a seasoned Business / Sales Developer with strong technical credibility who wants to shape growth in the alumina products at related high temperature/process industries. You combine deep industry knowledge with a commercial mindset, and you are energized by building long-term business through insight, data, and strong customer relationships. You are comfortable operating internationally and thrive in a role with significant travel and customer exposure.

Our ideal candidate has proven experience in alumina products and their applications at different industries, with a strong understanding of customers’ processes, technical requirements, and value drivers.

 

Additionally, we are looking for:

  • Proven technical expertise, with the ability to discuss products and applications at a detailed, process-oriented level
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in alumina, aluminum, refractories, chemicals, minerals processing, or closely related industries
  • Strong analytical mindset; comfortable working with data analysis, market intelligence, and performance KPIs
  • Excellent technical communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to interface confidently with engineers, technical experts, procurement teams, and senior management
  • Results-driven, opportunity-oriented, and commercially astute
  • Fluent in English; additional languages such as Arabic, Turkish or French are an advantage
  • Experience with CRM systems and structured pipeline management
  • Hands-on, proactive, and self-driven
  • Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related technical field preferred

 

The position will be based in Dubai and it will require flexibility to travel about 50% of the working time.

 

About the job

 

The primary purpose of this role is to develop and grow the alumina products business, from identifying and shaping opportunities to securing long-term contracts and supporting sustainable revenue growth across international markets.

  • Developing and executing business growth strategies for alumina products across assigned regions and key accounts
  • Identifying new market opportunities, applications, and customers, supported by structured market and data analysis
  • Leading commercial discussions and negotiations with key stakeholders across the customer organization
  • Building and maintaining long-term strategic partnerships with customers and industry players
  • Working closely with technical, R&D, and operations teams to align product solutions with customer needs
  • Providing technical and commercial input to support product positioning and value propositions
  • Managing sales forecasts, market intelligence, and opportunity pipelines to ensure robust business planning
  • Supporting pricing strategies, contract structures, and financial performance targets
