About the job

As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will play an important role in the Digital Transformation of RHI Magnesita, being a key individual to support the development of the technical solutions. You support main initiatives, being part of the Digital & Cloud Solution Delivery department. Work in alignment with rest of the teams and other IT areas, following corporate standards with full autonomy to challenge and purpose new ideas, keeping all activities well documented. Your tasks will include:Receive and synthesize data about customer business and technical requirements and address them with technical architecture(s). Understanding Customer Technical Environment and map architecture and digital transformation solutions to customer business outcomes.Provide guidance and support with technical expertise the teams in building the cloud infrastructure and develop features for our Cloud Solutions.Keep up with best practices, software development trends and innovationsProfile description:

What we expect from you in terms of

Education

BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or a related technical disciplineCertificates: Azure certificates will be considered an asset

Languages

English – Proficient/Fluent;

Work Experience 

Experience as Senior DevOps Engineer, preferably with Microsoft Azure.Knowledge of security best practices in infrastructure, networking, design of applications, IAM, and data analysis solutions.Knowledge of Microsoft cloud solutions such as IaaS, PaaS, and ServerlessExperience with software development, .NET, Core, JavaScript, Node, JS, RESTful APIs, Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with CI/CD platforms like Azure DevOps.Experience with project delivery methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.Experience with IaC, automation tools, ARM Templates, Terraform, Chef, or Ansible.Capability to understand business needs and interact with other teams to act as a technical consultant and provide support for the long-term design and day-by-day activities.Familiarity with working remotely, collaborating with teams working in different time zones.Scripting experience (preferably PowerShell).Nice-to-have:

Knowledge of Microsoft tools like Active Directory, Power Automate, Power BI, Intune, Office 365, etc.Experience with databases: SQL and NoSQL. Any experience with Low Code tools development will be considered an asset.  Knowledge using modern Web UI technologies – Angular JS, HTML5, React, CSS3 & Angular.
