What you will bring:
- Provides exceptionally friendly customer service to every patient both in office and over the phone.
- Manages the office phone system: Answering phone calls from patients, pharmacies, caregivers etc, with questions regarding a patient’s clinical needs.
- Follows practice guidelines on clinical decision making for proposing orders and messages to providers from patients
- Working with insurance companies, obtaining referrals, prior authorizations, etc.
- Following up with patients on test results, post-procedure instructions, etc.
- Assist with any miscellaneous tasks to ensure the practice is presentable to incoming patients.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant training program preferred.
- Experience with EMS preferred.
- Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
