Responsibilities:

Responsible for carrying out packing activities and at the same time inspecting and ensuring the quality of the packaging meets the established quality standards. In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities: • Work within Company Safety standards following its safety policies and procedures with responsibility for others around his working area too • Inspect quality of bag sealing, carton sealing and manufacturing date codes during the process to ensure finished goods meets quality standards • Ensure that finished products that do not meet specifications are rejected and properly segregated • In case of promotions, in line or at Small Pack, follow promotion guidelines • Maintain housekeeping in the packing area and surrounding according to standards • Assist to replenish and prepare packaging raw materials • Operates packing equipment’s such as stacker chute, manual sealing machine, semi-auto sealing machine and carton sealer machine according to standards, he/she may consult Team Leaders if/when technical intervention is necessary. In machines with fully automatic bag sealer, he/she can refill polybags too • Conduct inspection and basic maintenance on manual / semi-auto bag sealing machines and carton sealers • Assist operators on simple cleaning related tasks assigned to him/her such as: removal and disposal of trims, rejected products, general machine cleaning and during CIL stops • Maintain an adequate communication within the team • Complete all required documentation related to his work • Coach new team members within the designated area • Any other task assigned by his/her supervisor To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications: • A basic school certificate. • Relevant working exposure or experience in a similar role. • Willing to relocate to the job location.
