Responsibilities:
You are on a journey to join an exciting Company and be part of our success story. Here we will equip you with the know-how and experience that will define your growth. In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:
• Oversee boiler operations in the distributed control system (DCS)
• Operate high-pressure boilers, including starting and stopping operations.
• Conduct continuous visual inspections, read gauges, and operate controls.
• Ensure pressure and temperature meter readings are recorded correctly.
• Check boiler pipes, valves, pumps, and safety devices for leaks and damage.
• Perform periodic inspections and adjustments of control mechanisms.
• Clean the boiler when conductive particles and dirt exceed specified limits; test high and low pressure safety controls.
• Oversee daily boiler maintenance, including lubrication and greasing of stokers, fans, motors, and other operational mechanisms.
• Comply with safety and fire procedures.
• Investigate and take corrective action for emergency repairs.
To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you have the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (D3/S1 in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering)
- Minimum 3 years of work experience as a DCS Boiler Operator.
- Domiciled in the Balikpapan area or surrounding areas.

What you'll do
- The Operator will oversee boiler operations, including starting and stopping high-pressure boilers, conducting inspections, and ensuring safety compliance. They will also perform maintenance tasks and investigate emergency repairs.
