Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Senior Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and support the finance function of the business. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and experience working with accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and maintain financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, and payments).
- Process invoices, reconciliations, and payments.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with payroll processing.
- Support auditors and accountants with month-end and year-end closing.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office tools.
- Relevant qualification in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance (advantageous).
