Position Summary: Our busy Orthopedic Hand Center in Provo is looking to hire a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provides medical care and treatment to patients under direction of supervising physician.
- Performs physical exams, collects and documents data, conducts approved diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, orders laboratory studies, prescribes medication, assists in surgery, and prescribes appropriate interventions.
- Compiles patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination.
- Collaborates with the supervising physician in managing medical needs of patients.
- Ability to manage a busy clinic schedule.
- Displays willingness to make decisions and exhibits sound and accurate judgment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Successful completion of National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Must hold licensure/certification as required by the state of Utah and DEA number as well.
Hours: Monday - Saturday 730am - 6pm. Weekend and evening call - PRN
