Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our fast-paced Family Medicine team in Provo. The ideal candidate is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. While the primary focus is on preventive care and chronic disease management, weight loss & acute care is also part of the daily workflow.
Each provider is supported by a dedicated nursing staff to ensure efficient and thorough care delivery. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential. Experience in family medicine is preferred but not required—we offer a supportive environment with multiple providers available for guidance and collaboration during every shift. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct medical care under the supervision of a physician
- Conduct physical exams, gather and document patient histories, and order/interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and coordinate appropriate treatment plans
- Manage both acute and chronic medical conditions
- Collaborate with the supervising physician and care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented clinic culture
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required
- Successful completion of National certification as an NP or PA
- Current Utah licensure and DEA certification
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Willingness to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Spanish-speaking preferred but not required
- A proactive, innovative mindset and a passion for continuous improvement
