Job Summary:
We’re looking for a dedicated and team-oriented Restaurant Outlet Cook-PM to join our kitchen team and contribute to multiple outlets within the hotel. This role involves preparing and cooking dishes to recipe specifications, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation, and working collaboratively across various service periods—from breakfast and lunch to dinner and private dining.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation: Set up and stock food items and necessary supplies; prepare ingredients by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
Cooking: Cook food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other methods to specified recipes and standards.
Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage; clean and sanitize cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
Inventory Management: Perform inventory checks and complete food storage logs.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role.
Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification within 3 months of hire.
