Client Summary:
USAID requires Indirect Rate Specialists to review, analyze, and negotiate indirect cost rate agreements (NICRAs) for contractors and grantees as part of final closeout and financial reconciliation.

Position Summary:
Review, analyze, and negotiate provisional and final indirect cost rates in accordance with federal cost principles.
 
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of indirect cost pools, bases, and forecasts.
- Prepare negotiation objectives and execute rate negotiations.
- Maintain NICRA documentation and audit files.
- Coordinate with auditors, COs/AOs, and legal teams.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Business, Accounting or related field.
- 5+ years experience negotiating indirect rates for a federal agency. 
- Ability to work independently without performing inherently governmental functions.
