Client Summary:
USAID’s Office of Acquisition and Assistance (OAA) manages acquisition and assistance actions across the Agency. Senior attorneys support high-risk litigation, complex appropriations issues, and cross-functional legal advisory services for USAID’s closeout.

Location: Hybrid (Washington, DC)
Clearance: Facility Access / Public Trust (may vary)
Salary Range: $175,000–$220,000
 
Position Summary:
Provide senior-level legal counsel, lead legal interpretations, support litigation, and oversee complex analysis.
 
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex legal reviews across acquisitions, grants, and appropriations.
- Provide senior advisory services across USAID offices.
- Mentor junior attorneys and oversee work products.
- Manage litigation and regulatory workload.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) + active bar membership.
- 8+ years federal legal experience in the relevant practice area.
