About this role

We are expanding our team and looking for Product Quality Managers, both experienced and less experienced, for technologically advanced medical devices in Global Quality who will help us ensure the uncompromised quality of our premium hearing aids.

The team you will be part of

As our new Product Quality Manager, you will represent Global Quality in product and hardware-related projects or programs. You will be part of Development Quality Hearing, working with product quality during development and the initial time in-market. You will partner with R&D, Project management, various engineering disciplines, Product management, In-market quality, Manufacturing and Supplier Quality to ensure that quality is built into products and services from the earliest ideas through development.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

  • Engage in early concept of product and hardware design with quality and end-user needs in mind
  • Consolidate market and field quality feedback and initiate appropriate actions within the entire development life cycle
  • Support identification and deployment of appropriate quality tools and methods (e.g. DFMEA, CTQ, QFD, DOE) to design quality into products and services
  • Define and manage the product quality plan within the development project
  • Facilitate prevention and quick response to product quality issues and risks, and initiate and support root cause analysis (RCA)
  • Assess and report Quality Readiness to Project Managers and key stakeholders in a clear and fact-based way

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:

  • Have a relevant technical education (e.g. Electronics, Software, Mechanics, Acoustics or similar)
  • Bring experience from development or quality roles in product development or manufacturing of medical or electronic products
  • Understand key R&D disciplines and systems (e.g. HW, SW, mechanics) and how design choices impact quality and reliability
  • Are familiar with quality tools such as DFMEA, CTQ, QFD, quality planning and feedback loops
  • Work in a structured, practical way and use data and collaboration to improve quality
  • Are highly organized, results-oriented, pragmatic, curious and motivated, with a clear focus on collaboration
  • Are attentive to customer needs and driven by data and facts
  • Have good communication and stakeholder management skills and can build trust
  • Have fluent English written and oral skills
