About this role

Our Product Lifecycle Engineering (PLE) team is responsible for sustaining and enhancing ResMed’s portfolio of life-support ventilator devices throughout their operational life. As the design authority for platforms such as Astral and Stellar, we ensure our products continue to meet the highest levels of safety, quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance long after launch.

Within this environment, Electrical Engineering plays a critical role in maintaining design integrity, assessing risks, and supporting continuous improvement of complex electronic systems. PLE Electrical Engineers work closely with systems, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines to evaluate field performance, address component obsolescence, investigate electrical issues, and ensure compliance with relevant global standards.

Our multidisciplinary team collaborates end-to-end—from root-cause investigations to design updates and verification activities—to ensure every device remains robust, safe, and trusted in clinical use worldwide.
