About the role

This role is part of the Credit Risk team, which develops, implements, and monitors models and strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop statistical models for risk, marketing, and operations

  • Work with model validation to ensure models are approved and remain in compliance

  • Support the credit team with analysis and deployments including retro-scoring historical files, supporting marketing campaigns as needed, and deploying models and strategies within decision engines.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

  • Master's or PhD in a quantitative field

  • 5+ years' experience building statistical models including regression, gradient boosted models, and other methodologies

  • Proficient coding in multiple languages especially SQL and Python

  • Experience with pickling models, Docker, PMML, JSON, and XML are desirable

Location

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere that suits you best! While you’ll primarily work from home, you are always welcome to visit our office in Wilmington, DE, whenever you choose. We encourage our remote team members to stay connected through regular virtual meetings and team events. All team members must reside in one of our approved locations by their start date, ensuring you remain part of our collaborative community.

Compensation

For this role our salary range is $150,000 to $185,000 per year depending on relevant experience. This role will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on both company and individual performance.
