Salary up to 32,000 (inc. 20% shift allowance) depending on experience
Renishaw is seeking a Semi-skilled Manual Operator for a permanent position in the Machine Shop based in Stonehouse Gloucestershire. The primary responsibility of this role involves operating a variety of injection moulding machines.
The successful candidate will be expected to work a 2 shift rotation with working hours as follows: Mon - Thu: 6am‑2pm, 2‑10pm, Fri: 6am-12:12pm, 12:12-6:24pm
Responsibilities
Operation of various injection moulding machines, whilst adhering to the quality standard, within the set time.
Basic inspection of completed parts in accordance with quality documentation.
Maintain the high standards of housekeeping in the working area
Key requirements
The ability to demonstrate written and numeracy skills
The ability to follow written and pictorial instructions accurately
Desirable requirements
Knowledge of engineering disciplines within a manufacturing environment.
Basic PC skills are required, although full training will be given to successful applicant
Person specification
This role would ideally suit somebody who values the importance of attention to detail. The successful candidate will have the ability to work unaided whilst forming part of a team. A positive “can do” attitude would also be of benefit. Good communication skills are essential for the role.
