About our Team:

We’re seeking a dynamic leader to manage our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) operations team and drive the transformation of our Azure-based cloud operations. This team supports multiple large product portfolios and plays a critical role in our business success. As part of the LexisNexis technology organization, you’ll work with cutting-edge tools and emerging technologies to evolve our solutions and deliver meaningful impact across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Development:

    Manage and mentor a team of 10 SREs. Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and operational excellence. Develop and execute training plans to support career growth and technical advancement.

  • Infrastructure & Automation:

    Lead implementation of Azure infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and Nomad. Drive automation initiatives using Ansible and other modern tooling. Oversee CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to ensure efficient and secure deployments.

  • Monitoring & Reliability:

    Ensure high availability and performance of hosted applications. Implement and maintain observability solutions using Grafana and OpenTelemetry. Establish and refine alerting strategies to proactively address system issues.

  • Security & Compliance:

    Ensure alignment with LexisNexis SLAs and Information Security requirements. Manage secrets securely using Vault. Integrate and oversee scanning tools such as Snyk, Wiz, Qualys, and Microsoft Defender. Collaborate with InfoSec and compliance teams to maintain audit readiness and security posture.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing SRE or DevOps teams in a cloud-native environment.

  • Deep expertise in Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices.

  • Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Experience with monitoring, alerting, and incident response workflows.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $136,100 - $252,800. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
