Seeking a Mixed Signal IC Product Definition Intern to assist the Renesas Memory Interface architecture team in its work creating specifications for cutting edge mixed-signal integrated circuits.

Duties/Responsibilities

Work under the guidance of a mentor with a team of engineers and technical writers. This team develops specifications for IC devices for future DDR and LPDDR memory modules which will power the most high-performance, high-capacity servers and workstations.

Tasks will include reviewing draft specifications from standards organizations like JEDEC, proofreading internal specifications, and analyzing them for editorial or functional issues.

Qualifications

  • Students must be enrolled fulltime in university pursuing a BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.  Must not have graduated before September 2026.
  • Exposure to ASIC architecture, high speed I/O, digital logic, and switching regulator design methodologies
  • Experience with circuit schematics
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat. FrameMaker a plus
  • Strong skill with using AI for continuing development
