Job Description

About the Role:

The Education Curriculum and Content Development Manager will focus on developing, managing, and delivering educational content and programs. This role requires a blend of strong communication, project management, and subject matter expertise. This position will oversee the program expansions into emerging markets. 

This is a dynamic and high-impact role that requires an individual with extensive electronic design expertise, embedded systems expertise, exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in project management, specifically within the education sector.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Program Management:

    • Designing, planning, and implementing relevant, compelling, technical educational content, workshops, and other learning initiatives. This includes setting learning objectives, managing curriculum development, and developing assessment methods. 

    • Developing and implementing a content strategy, production schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and quality control. 

    • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in online learning and instructional design.

    • Establish and drive regional expansion of the educational programs and university courses in key markets: China, Japan, Americas, EMEA, APAC

  • Reporting and Metrics Management:

    • Tracking program and content performance, analyzing data, and generating reports to identify areas for improvement. 

    • Provide actionable insights based on data to inform business decisions.

  • Communication and Collaboration:

    • Support educational partners in understanding and utilizing Altium’s solution and educational resources.

    • Effectively communicating with diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing, and fostering collaboration among team members. 

    • Collaborating with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product development) and external partners (e.g., educators, vendors)

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ Years

    • 5-7 years of experience in program and content management, preferably within the education or technology sector.

    • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    • The ability to develop engaging and innovative learning experiences.

    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

    • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and education platforms is an asset.

    • Understanding of Higher Education Academic Partnerships is a plus.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), content management systems (CMS), and other relevant technologies. 

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint), and Lucid Charts.

    • Familiarity with data analysis tools and experience managing platform performance metrics.

  • Communication Skills:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for developing and delivering educational content, as well as for collaborating with stakeholders. 

    • Strong ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.

  • Other Skills:

    • Additional foreign language skills (Japanese, Chinese) are a plus.
