JOB SUMMARY:

Part time seasonal staff to work in the Recreational Program at RWA. Candidates must be available to work 2-4 days per week, based on need, starting in April and continue through October. Weekend shifts and holidays required. Possible limited shifts available extended through the winter.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Staffing Lake Saltonstall Reservoir during fishing season
  2. Helping patrons with boat rentals
  3. Boat rental maintenance
  4. Permit sales
  5. Maintain trails and walking paths
  6. Driving and staffing the portable water fountain to events
  7. Assisting with special events involving children fishing

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Educational Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

 

Experience/Skills/Abilities:

  • Outdoor recreation preferred
  • Boating knowledge preferred
  • Customer service preferred
  • Candidate must have valid CT Driver’s License with clean driving record
  • Must be able to lift 65 lbs.

This position is not eligible for benefits due to part-time seasonal status.
