Supervisor: Emerging Programs Manager
Status: Full-time – Non Exempt

Qualifications: Associates degree or two years related work experience. Strong speaking and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational ability and strong administrative skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize accordingly. Strong skills required in Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong supervision skills required. Demonstrated commitment to the Food Bank's mission. A valid NYS driver's license. The incumbent will be required to regularly work a schedule including nights and weekends, as distributions occur.
Position Summary: Responsible for the management daily implementation of all aspects of direct delivery programs aimed at increasing equitable service to underserved communities. The Emerging Programs Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of the Regional Food Banks's community-based food distributions. This role requires strong interdepartmental collaboration and the ability to work with external partners in representing the Food Bank. Engaging with people from diverse backgrounds will be essential in building strong external relationships and driving positive change.
Physical Requirements: This position works in a typical office setting but may be exposed to extreme temperatures in a warehouse setting and at distribution sites. There may be extended periods of sitting, standing and/or bending, listening, talking and/or visual concentration, writing and/or computer use. This position would normally have routine opportunities for the employee to be able to alter their physical position or change eye focus. The position requires driving a cargo van, and daily lifting and stacking boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
