KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with Inside/Outside Sales to determine which projects will require formal quotations and to handoff all project documents during order initiation
  • Enters take-offs in Eclipse, works on less complex projects for multiple branches as part of a regional support team
  • Generates bids under direction from the OSR without considering pricing
  • Prepare detailed and thorough Bills of Materials including all Piping/Valves/Fittings required for the project with concise quotations that can be easily understood by our customers
  • Manage addendums and communicate with sales and customers
  • Track upcoming projects for addition to Bid Calendar/Frontlog
  • Develop a working relationship with key customers

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills with strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • College degree in an industry-related field
  • Prior experience with estimating with a contractor or engineer
  • Experience within the industry

  • Attendance – Ability to maintain the scheduled days and hours, including onsite presence at the assigned location as specified.
  • Physical Capacities – Lift up to 25 pounds on occasion, sitting and standing for extended periods.
  • Operation of Office Equipment — Job requires operation of equipment common to office settings, including computers, copiers, and other office equipment, including Near Vision, Manual Dexterity, and working in proximity to equipment.
  • Oral Communication Skills – Speaking, Speech Clarity, and Speech Recognition.
  • Written Communication Skills – Writing, Reading and Written Comprehension, and Written Expression.
