SUMMARY OF JOB

Up To $6000 Nursing Sign On Bonus

 

The Clinical Unit Coordinator-Clinical must be able to perform all aspects of the nursing process.  The incumbent must be able to recognize, interpret, document and demonstrate skills as required by patient population on assigned nursing unit. 

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Nursing Director, assist in planning, monitoring and improving unit operations to achieve hospital goals of quality, service and positive outcomes. 

Position responsibilities include OR charge nurse duties as assigned. Expectation is the incumbent can also be assigned to cases when needed.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

BSN

BLS certification

Stroke education annually

Specialty certification preferred

Meets performance standards within probationary period

Demonstrated leadership accountability through professional behavior

Demonstrate knowledge of emergency preparedness policies and procedures.

Must be able to work alternating shifts and be flexible

Monthly on call requirements including weekends and holidays
