About the role:
We’re looking for a Working Student to support our Accounts Receivable team at our modern headquarters in Venlo – near the German border in the Netherlands. In this role, you’ll assist with day-to-day operations and actively contribute to various processes. This position is ideal for students in finance, accounting or a related field who are eager to gain hands-on experience. The role is available for several months and offers you the opportunity to gain insight into receivables management processes and actively contribute to the team’s efficiency.
Job Description
About your tasks:
Supporting the Accounts Receivable team with administrative and operational tasks
Processing incoming payments and credit notes, including accurate allocation and documentation
Assisting in reconciling customer accounts and resolving discrepancies
Maintaining data in internal systems to ensure accuracy and consistency
Responding to standard inquiries regarding payments and account balances from internal and external contacts
Supporting ad-hoc tasks to help reduce the team’s workload and improve processes
Qualifications
About you:
You are enrolled in a degree program related to finance, accounting, or a similar field for the entire duration of the contract (until June 30, 2026)
You work in an organized and detail-oriented manner
You are comfortable with repetitive tasks and complete them reliably
You have basic knowledge of Excel and are open to learning accounting systems
You are fluent in English, written and spoken; German or Dutch language skills are a plus
You are available to come to the office in Sevenum at least 2-3 days for 20-24 hours per week
