About the role: 

Technical Control Room Employee operates the technical control center to ensure stable, safe, and coordinated operation of automated logistics systems at the Sevenum site. The role continuously monitors system status, identifies and prioritizes technical incidents, and coordinates appropriate response actions with Technical Service and Maintenance teams. Acting as a central coordination and escalation point during operations, the role supports fast incident resolution and minimizes operational impact. Success is reflected in high system availability, effective incident coordination, and clear, timely communication.

About your Tasks:

  • Monitor automated logistics and technical systems via the control center to identify disruptions and abnormalities.
  • Prioritize technical incidents based on operational impact and defined escalation criteria.
  • Coordinate and dispatch Technical Engineering and Maintenance resources to ensure timely incident resolution.
  • Escalate critical or recurring technical issues to the Shift Manager.
  • Maintain clear communication with Operations regarding system status, incidents, and recovery progress.
  • Document incidents, actions taken, and handovers to ensure transparency and continuity between shifts.
  • Ensure adherence to defined SOPs, safety standards, and control center procedures at all times.

Qualifications

About You:

  • Several years of experience in a technical, engineering, or operational control environment.
  • Experience working with automated logistics or industrial technical systems.
  • Ability to work in a shift-based, on-site operational environment.
  • Strong ability to monitor, assess, and prioritize technical incidents in real time.
  • Solid understanding of technical system interdependencies and operational impact.
  • Clear communication skills, structured working style, and high stress resilience.
