About this role

Company Description

Drive sales and marketing of Red Bull in on-premise accounts within the assigned region, working together with a team of Musketeers. The ROPM will train, coach, develop, and evaluate the Musketeers to ensure a high-performing team. The ROPM will build the brand image in the on-premise channel, ensure excellent and efficient area coverage by the Musketeers, and continuously improve return on investment for Red Bull.

The brand’s image is strengthened through customer interaction and personal style.

AREA MANAGEMENT

Ensures excellent, intelligent, and efficient coverage of the area by Musketeers.

Builds and maintains relationships with key on-premise partners.

Spends at least four days per week in the field with Musketeers.

Properly manages partnership agreement payments and budgets.

Maintains professional and appropriate conduct during both daytime and nighttime visits.

Analyzes regional and account-specific data to understand key business drivers.

Manages the team to ensure on-premise account staff understand the brand and Red Bull execution standards.

Ensures accounts are properly serviced by Musketeers to drive increased sales.

Ensures premium on-premise activation and High 5 execution at third-party events held in on-premise venues.

Leverages global and national activities and events in the most suitable venues.

Allocates resources to achieve the highest return on investment and continuously improves spending per case.

Monitors market trends and maintains up-to-date data on competitors.

STRATEGIC BUSINESS PLANNING & EXECUTION

Implements national and regional business plans.

Ensures that short- and long-term strategies and activities are consistent with RBNA guidelines.

Allocates resources to achieve the highest return on investment and continuously improves spending per case.

Assists in developing the business plan and budget for the business unit.

Monitors market trends and maintains up-to-date data on competitors.

Communicates effectively with RBNA, customers, and distributors.

MANAGING & COACHING

Guides, trains, and leads Musketeers toward the desired outcomes

Effectively coaches Musketeers based on their observed strengths and areas for improvement

Inspires and encourages the team’s success through a variety of actions

Continuously seeks out and engages potential qualified candidates for the team

EXECUTION STANDARDS

Visibility – The ROPM works with the OPM to ensure that product visibility is executed correctly in order to optimize sales.

Menu listings and cooler facings – The ROPM ensures that Red Bull products are listed on menus and displayed in coolers in accordance with RBNA guidelines and established planograms.

Perfect Serve – The ROPM works with the OPM to ensure that a cold can of Red Bull is served to the consumer whenever it is ordered, either as part of a cocktail or as a stand-alone beverage.

Pricing – The ROPM works with the OPM to encourage optimal pricing for Red Bull and Red Bull cocktails in all managed accounts, in line with RBNA guidelines.

Consumption activation – The ROPM works with the OPM to introduce and sell appropriate consumption activation tools and communication materials.

Qualifications

Extensive on-premise industry knowledge, contacts, and experience within the scene

4+ years of sales experience with a strong record of success

2+ years of management experience (experience in the on-premise beverage industry is an advantage)

Strong analytical and negotiation skills

Excellent communication and active listening skills

Creative and solution-oriented mindset

Self-motivated and able to work independently

Fully understands and embodies the Musketeer profile

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage

Additional Information

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.
The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - 150,000 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
