Location: HMP Holme House - Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 2QU
Working Hours: Full time - 37 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £25,110 - £32,090

About the role

Are you passionate about recovery, rehabilitation, and making a real difference to people’s lives?

We have an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Therapeutic Community Recovery Co-ordinator, with two roles available within our established 69-bedded Therapeutic Community at HMP Holme House.

This rewarding role is ideal for someone who enjoys delivering daily group work and building meaningful, long-term therapeutic relationships. Residents can remain within the Therapeutic Community for up to 12 months, giving you the opportunity to support sustained recovery, personal growth, and lasting change.

You will play a key role in facilitating engaging, structured group sessions while supporting residents throughout their recovery journey.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering the Therapeutic Community programme through daily therapeutic group work and structured activities

  • Managing an allocated caseload and providing consistent recovery support

  • Promoting and upholding Therapeutic Community principles and ethos in all aspects of practice

  • Supporting residents to develop insight, resilience, and positive life skills

  • Contributing to continuity of care and community life, including some weekend working on a rolling rota basis

Essential Criteria

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or above or equivalent) or willing to work towards this in post

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes

  • Understanding of and ability to implement interventions, including brief interventions MI, PSIs, CBT and ITEP.

  • Delivering 1-2-1 and group therapeutic interventions
