Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers on stories and requirements.  
• Work with developers and testers  
• Perform Automation and Functional Testing  
• Test across platforms & browsers   
• Drive the quality of our products to next level 
• Work in agile team and adhere to agile best practices 
• Do Functional, Automation and Cross-browser testing 
• Mentor the other testers 
• Acting POC for testing team  

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field. 
• Minimum 6-8 years of experience into QA and Automation 
• Basic level understanding of software development lifecycle and quality best practices and tools 
• Good knowledge on Automation Framework Development Proficient in the use of various automation frameworks like Selenium (preferred), Protractor, Rest Assured, karate etc. 
• Working Experience in Selenium and WebDriver 
• Work with the Development team to capture and reuse automated Unit Test Cases, Test Stubs and Drivers, and other Development test objects.  
• Hands-on experience with API-related technologies HTTP, REST, XML and JSON. 
• Test automation experience.  Experience with any of the following tools & technologies: JUnit, HTTpUnit, HTMLUnit, Selenium, TestNG, Eclipse TPTP, Rest Assured etc. 
• Able to gather existing manual test cases in the project and automate them to achieve efficiency 
• Identify, conduct feasibility study and recommend suitable automation technologies for the project 
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test cases.  
• Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.  
• Coordinate with business in understanding reported issues, requirements and expected behavior 
• Experience with Bug & Test Management Tools such as JIRA, Quality Center/HP ALM, Azure Test Plans etc. 
• Knowledge on API Testing and experience working with source code control (Git preferable) along with Java/ C# coding skills 
• Working knowledge of SQL & relational database technology. 
• Proactively seeks and obtains guidance from more experienced team members and uses these opportunities to develop their skills and knowledge 
• Identifies, and proposes process improvements in their team or work area. 
• Hands-on experience on Performance Testing and its tools like Jmeter 
• Applies software quality practices for testability of products and services  
• Excellent written and oral communication skills. 
• Excellent listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills
