We’re seeking a Senior/Lead UX Designer with exceptional visual UI craft and a strong, research-driven, human-centered mindset to shape the future of digital experiences in the HOA industry. In this role, you will lead design across critical resident-facing product experiences, partnering closely with Product and Engineering to define strategy, drive discovery, and deliver intuitive, accessible, and high-quality solutions. You’ll guide work from early problem framing and research through UX flows, system-level thinking, and polished, functional UI—thriving in an agile, collaborative environment.
This is a brand-new addition to our growing UX team. You’ll report directly to the Principal UX Designer and work day-to-day with a Senior Product Manager and an agile delivery team of product specialists and software engineers. One of your primary focus will be the Resident HOA Experience, where you’ll set the vision for what a modern, scalable Resident Portal can be—balancing user needs, business goals, and technical realities.
Key responsibilities
• Design and lead end-to-end product experiences: define interaction models and system behaviors; produce wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and prototypes that clearly communicate intent, logic, and outcomes across core workflows.
• Lead product discovery and research: plan and run discovery efforts using appropriate research methods (e.g., interviews, usability testing, surveys, workflow analysis) to uncover user needs, validate assumptions, and inform product direction.
• Own visual and interaction design quality: set a high bar for UI craft across experiences, ensuring clarity, consistency, accessibility, and polish.
• Lead design system and style guide development: own the evolution of the design system across teams, partnering with Engineering and Marketing to scale components, patterns, and brand expression consistently across products.
• Champion human-centered design: use research, usability findings, and evidence to influence decision-making and reduce subjective debate.
• Drive agile delivery with engineering: actively participate in agile ceremonies, collaborate in real time with engineers, and support UAT to validate product behavior and usability before release.
• Advocate for accessibility and usability at scale: ensure responsive, inclusive, and usable experiences across devices and platforms.
