Registered Dietitian

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a part-time Clinical Registered Dietitian to provide a monthly visit in a Residential Care Facility!

Join the team at RD Nutrition Consultants LLC! We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Clinical Registered Dietitian to provide vital nutritional care. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dietitian seeking a flexible schedule and competitive compensation.

Hours: 8-10 hours per week 1 short onsite visits to various facilities in the area each month, the rest of the hours can be completed remotely.  

Compensation: $40.00-45.00 per hour depending on experience 

Travel Reimbursement: Paid at the same hourly rate for time traveling to and from the facility

Responsibilities:

• Preform periodic nutritional assessments.
  
• Assist with menu development as needed. 
  
• Review and approve menu on a semi-annual basis to ensure it meets USDA guidelines. 
  
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance nutrition care services and patient outcomes as needed. 
  
• Conduct monthly kitchen sanitation audits, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
  
• Perform other tasks as assigned and within scope of practice as needed.
  
• Adheres to all facility policy and procedure. 
  

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program.
  
• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  
• Current state licensure/certification (if mandated by the state)
  
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience (preferred).
  
• Experience with reviewing menus for facilities.
  
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  
• Possesses the ability to apply critical thinking to a variety of situations, assess objectives, develop and implement and monitor effective plans for improvement.
  
• Proficiency in providing general nutrition
  
• Familiarity with state survey processes and adhering to nutrition care regulations
