 Trust Operations Associate - 12 Month Contract

 

How does this role impact the organization?

Working within the Trust Operations Team, the Trust Operations Associate will report to the VP, Trust Operations.  You are an experienced and dependable operations support associate able to work in a dynamic environment within a growing trust business. You bring a strong willingness to learn about our trust business and support day-to-day operational activities. You enjoy working collaboratively with various business units and are able to use technology and operational systems to support data entry, document management, and various administrative tasks. You bring a positive, detail-oriented mindset to the work you do and are willing to support others by completing tasks accurately and on time to help achieve the overall goals of our growing trust business.

What will your role be responsible for?

  • Support the Trust Services Team with essential operational tasks such as account openings and setup, data entry, and account closures;
  • Support the Trust Operations Team by providing operational and administrative assistance for various initiatives and projects led by the VP, Trust Operations or Senior Business Analyst;
  • Coordinate communications with Trust Officers and Trust Administrators and other internal teams to support the timely completion of trust operations objectives;
  • Maintain accurate and complete client records in accordance with policies and procedures;
  • Prepare, track, and maintain records of outbound communications and project-related deliverables;
  • Maintain and update operational logs, trackers, and supporting documentation;
  • Support compliance efforts by following established procedures and assisting with audits, reviews, and reporting requests; and
  • Perform other operational duties as assigned to support business needs.

  • Creative mindset around use of technology as it relates to building templates, spreadsheets and tools to support the operations of our trust business;
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study;
  • Experience in operations, financial services, or administrative support (and knowledge/experience working for a trust company would be an asset); and
  • Professional and/or industry accreditation would be an asset.

Salary Range: $45,000 - 55,000  annually, in addition to competitive performance bonuses/incentives.

Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, internal equity, and other job requirements.
