About this role

Site Communications Lead

Chandler, AZ or Hollister, CA- hybrid

PacSci is growing - and this role sits right at the center of that momentum. As the Site Communications Lead, you will own how we connect people to purpose, leaders to employees, and innovation to impact at the site level. This is a hands-on, highly visible role for a passionate communicator who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to make a meaningful difference during a period of growth.

You will lead primarily internal communications with a strong focus on engaging a largely “unwired” manufacturing workforce, while also driving to elevate the PacSci brand and tell our story across the aerospace and defense sectors.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute a site-focused internal communications strategy tailored to a manufacturing environment where ~65% of employees are “unwired” -not regularly connected to digital tools or cell phones.

  • Create clear, engaging communications that strengthen culture, reinforce business priorities, and connect employees to the mission and impact of their work.

  • Align site communications with PacSci’s business objectives and Ralliant’s broader communications framework.

  • Partner with site and executive leaders to shape authentic leadership communication, including tone, voice, and message style.

  • Increase leadership visibility through town halls, site events, speaking opportunities, and digital platforms.

  • Partner with HR to enhance and cultivate employee engagement

  • Lead external storytelling efforts, including brand messaging, thought leadership, and selective media engagement.

  • Own PacSci’s social media presence—developing content, managing publishing cadence, and growing engagement to showcase innovation, talent, and impact.

  • Create and manage content across multiple channels, including intranet, email, digital signage, billboards, print materials, visual displays, and verbal communication forums.

  • Measure communications effectiveness through engagement metrics and feedback, and continuously refine approaches for greater impact.

  • Collaborate closely with HR, Marketing, and Ralliant’s central Communications team to ensure alignment and consistency.

What You Bring

  • 5–8 years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field; manufacturing, operations, or industrial experience is a plus.

  • Proven ability to deliver integrated communications across internal and external audiences.

  • Strong writing, storytelling, and content development skills.

  • Experience managing social media strategy and execution.

  • High energy, curiosity, and a passion for engaging people and building connection.

  • A hands-on, proactive mindset with comfort operating in a dynamic, evolving environment.

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • Be part of a company on the rise. PacSci is experiencing strong growth within the defense industry, delivering advanced solutions that support critical national defense missions.

  • See your impact every day. Your work will be visible across the site—from the shop floor to senior leadership—shaping engagement, clarity, and culture.

  • Own the story at a pivotal time. You’ll help communicate growth, innovation, and mission impact during an exciting phase of expansion.

  • Work close to the action. This is an embedded role, partnering directly with leaders and employees who care deeply about what they build and why it matters.

  • Grow while making a difference. You’ll expand your influence, sharpen your leadership skills, and help shape communications for a growing defense organization doing meaningful work.
