Role Summary: Management of Supply base to ensure a cost efficient and continuous flow of material to achieve both short- and long-term business plans.

Tasks:

• Order placement and expediting of Purchase order in ERP system
• Manage direct material inventory levels. Drive reduction in direct material inventory through forecasting, material re-application, redistribution, ABC analysis and E+O planning and Inventory Turns
• Maintain/improve an efficient flow of material ensuring quality, delivery and cost targets are met with efficient management of PPV (Purchase Price Variance)
• Maintain and improve master data accuracy in the ERP system including safety stock, Kanban bin sizes and lead-times
• Negotiate and maintain supply contracts including pricing by efficient management of PPV (Purchase Price Variance) buffer stock levels and T+C’s
• Assist and develop risk mitigation techniques including credit rating, change of ownership to preserve supply to Gems
• Identify, establish, and consolidate vendors in the supply chain
• Support cross function projects including kaizen events
• Assist and support New Production Implementation
