Department Overview
We are a department dedicated to HR for the mobile-related business, a key focus area within Rakuten Group. Our team of approximately 60 HR professionals provides comprehensive support across all HR functions, including talent management, recruitment, training and development, performance evaluation, labor relations, and HR Business Partnering (HRBP).
Working in close collaboration with Rakuten Group headquarters, we are in an environment where we can provide end-to-end support, from investigating and analyzing HR challenges specific to the unique workplace environment of the mobile business (considering the mobile market, store operations, and global development environment and talent composition), to planning and implementing solutions, managing operations, and facilitating workplace communication.

Position Details
As an HRBP, you will formulate and execute HR strategies to achieve the business strategies of specific business divisions.
Specifically, you will lead all general HR areas, from identifying challenges within the business division, including.
- Strategic HR: Planning and execution of organizational design, talent development, recruitment plans, performance and compensation systems, talent management, etc.
- Organization & Talent Development: Supporting the improvement of organizational performance, employee capability development, and engagement.
- Recruitment: Strategic planning and support for the execution of acquiring top talent.
- HR Systems: Operation and improvement of HR systems, labor management, and thorough compliance.
Work Environment
- Mobile and RTS HR Department (Overall) ‐ Approximately 60 members
- RTS HRBP Group - Approximately 8 members
Mandatory Qualifications:
- 2+ years of HR experience
- Experience communicating with management and other senior stakeholders
Desired Candidate Profile
- Experience collaborating in a team and the ability to work with other departments
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing environments and new challenges
- Basic Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Business-level Japanese proficiency
Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to analyze problems and propose/implement effective solutions.

TOEIC score of 800 or higher (or proof of equivalent English proficiency, or a university degree or higher from an English-speaking country).
Proof of qualification is required by the time of the offer letter.
If you do not have a score or certificate, we will arrange for you to take a TOEIC IP test organized by our company during the selection process.
