Business Overview
AI & Data Division (AIDD) leads to develop service platforms and products utilizing Rakuten group data and providing AI & Data consulting services to contribute to strengthen each business utilization. We are also leading companywide mid-long-term AI & Data strategy development and execution.
Department Overview
AI & Data Division General Management Office (AIGMO) is a horizontal organization to manage strategically overall division’s services/platform, financial budget& operation, division events and so forth. We’re contributing to managing strategy planning and operating division wide topics to support maximization of organizational capabilities with stakeholders.
Also our organization is taking the lead as Project Management Office of companywide strategy: Rakuten AI-nization.

- AI & Data Division wide engagement initiatives planning & execution
- Identify the organization problems and finding solutions to contribute to overall efficiency
- Strategy staff/leader of Rakuten AI-nization Project Management Office to lead together company-wide strategy
Work Environment
AI & Data Division General Management Office is a global organization with approx. 30 members.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Experience in Project Management or PMO
- Strong communication, collaboration, and coordination skills
- Strategy planning, presentation, business development skills
- Strong leaderships skills, abilities to get things done with speed/ flexibility
- High level of initiatives to identify issues, gather/organize information, make proposals/implementation
- Risk management and problem-solving abilities
- Data analysis skills
- Documentation skills using Microsoft Office, Experience with project management tools (Confluence, JIRA, etc.)
- Business-level fluency in Japanese＆English
Desired Qualifications:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a consulting firm
- Basic knowledge of IT, engineering and AI

What you'll do
- The Program Manager will plan and execute division-wide engagement initiatives and identify organizational problems to enhance overall efficiency. They will also serve as the strategy staff/leader for the Rakuten AI-nization Project Management Office, leading company-wide strategy.
