Department Overview
The Employee Relations Section, Wellness Group, is an organization dedicated to promoting the physical and mental wellness of Rakuten Group employees and optimizing their performance, thereby contributing to the company's sustainable growth, all based on Rakuten Group's HR strategy.
Specifically, we aim to enhance employee vitality and improve overall organizational productivity through the planning and operation of wellness and health promotion seminars and events, as well as the execution and analysis of various internal surveys. We formulate and execute strategic measures based on insights gained from a data-driven approach, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including PR, General Affairs, and various business divisions, to contribute to the sustainable growth of Rakuten Group.

Position Details
As a Group Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation and management of the Wellness Group, and the following duties:
Primary Responsibilities
1. Formulation and Execution of Wellness Promotion Strategies based on Rakuten Group's Management and HR Strategies
- Development of annual plans, KPI setting, budget management, effect measurement, and improvement plans.
2. Planning, Implementation, and Analysis of Internal Surveys
- Designing and implementing regular surveys concerning employee wellness and health status.
- Statistical analysis and trend identification of survey data.
- Identifying issues and formulating action plans based on survey results.
3. Planning and Operation of Seminars and Events
- Planning and operating seminars for employees.
- Developing and implementing health promotion events (e.g., exercise programs, mental health care).
4. Strengthening PR Activities for Wellness Promotion
- Internal PR: Proactive information dissemination and promotion through internal wellness portal-site
- External PR: Disseminating initiatives related to wellness promotion and strengthening corporate branding using various media, SNS, etc.
5. Team Management
- Managing team members' tasks, setting goals, and fostering their development.
- Optimizing task allocation and resource management within the team.
Work Environment
Number of Members:
- Employee Relations Section: Approximately 60 members、Wellness Group: Approximately 3-4 members
- Age Range: Primarily in their 30s
Mandatory Qualifications:
- TOEIC score of 800 or higher, or equivalent English proficiency.
- 5 years+ experience in HR, labor relations, health management, or wellness promotion.
- Fundamental knowledge and practical experience in Health and Productivity Management and wellness.
- Practical experience in research and data analysis:
Skills in survey design, statistical analysis, and reporting.
Ability to visualize data using tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
- Project management experience:
Experience in leading projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Management experience:
Experience in team management or as a project leader.
- Operational capability and creative thinking:
Ability to generate new initiatives and solutions unconstrained by conventional frameworks.
Practical execution skills to smoothly advance projects from planning to implementation.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in organizational development consulting for corporations.
- Experience in operating employee survey tools.
- Extensive experience in event planning and operation.
- Experience in planning and executing health promotion and wellness initiatives within large organizations (1,000+ employees).
