While working for Rakuten Group, Inc. , you will be responsible for the accounting of Rakuten Mobile, Inc.

The Accounting Section of the Finance and Accounting Strategy Department of Rakuten Group, Inc. to which you will be assigned, consists of four groups - Corporate Accounting Group, Business Accounting Group, Fixed Assets Group and Tax Group - and is responsible for the overall financial accounting area.
We are looking for the candidate to manage the organization under Corporate Accounting Group.
As a professional in accounting, our mission is to enhance the excellence of financial reporting by adhering to relevant regulations, thereby strengthening transparency and trust with both internal and external stakeholders, and continuously providing information that contributes to management decision-making.
The business is continuously expanding, and there are many opportunities to engage in various tasks, and you can acquire a wide range of experience and skills while utilizing your experience and accounting knowledge.
Position Details
- Financial statements (standalone accounts, consolidated reporting), compliance with company law, audit compliance
- Correspond with accounting treatment under IFRS, JGAAP and Tax Law
- Planning and implementation of cross-company accounting operations
- Establishment of internal allocation process and guidelines
- M&As and Organization restructuring, etc.
- Mentoring and training members and improving organizational capacity
Work Environment
- Finance and Accounting Strategy Department Accounting Section: Approximately 60members
- Corporate Accounting Group: Approximately10members

Mandatory Qualifications:
- At least 5 years' experience in accounting in a business company
- Experience in management
Desired Qualifications:
- Qualifications such as CPA, Certified Tax Accountant, Level 1 Japanese Bookkeeper, etc.
- Experience in a full range of standalone financial closing tasks or management experience
- Experience in consolidated financial closing, consolidated reporting as a subsidiary of a listed company
- Experience in financial closing operations under IFRS
