You Will:

  • Collaborate with clinical operation teams with the primary focus of supporting all clinical applications related to radiologist dictations and reporting.
  • Work and communicate with radiologists providing RIS support, as needed.
  • Work with the System Solutions Team to implement and adjust workflows to improve efficiencies in case distribution and management.
  • Manage all radiologist worklists including but not limited to: All Problem, All Pending Dictation, Critical Results, All Pending, and All Suspended. Escalating concerns as needed
  • Collaborate with Clinical System Solution Teams to test and implement new software and functionalities related to radiologist workflows.
  • Present findings and recommendations as part of workflow and software implementation.
  • Answers incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner; following established protocols.
  • Call referring physicians to assist radiologist with delivering critical results findings, following established protocols.
  • Participate in various projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.
  • Provide coverage for all positions within case management and reporting division as needed.

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in clinical or science-related area or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Two (2) years in Health Care communications and/or customer service work experience preferred.
  • Multi-vendor IS experience with RIS/PACS.
  • Demonstrate strong customer service, multitasking, critical thinking, persuasion and analytical abilities, with superior communication and interpersonal skill.
  • Able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision making to achieve organizational objectives.
  • High level of proficiency and demonstrated effectiveness in problem determination and resolution.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
