You Will:

  • Complete a 40-hour initial Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8-hours of training in digital mammography included (Radnet will reimburse you).
  • Complete 8-hours of training in Tomosynthesis (Radnet will reimburse you).
  • Pass the California State Mammography Licensing Exam (Radnet will reimburse you).
  • Career Advancement Opportunity Available for a dedicated and caring professional to cross-train into mammography.
  • Be provided hands-on training in mammography once you have your California State Mammography License.
  • Become a full-time mammography technologist with RadNet once certified.
  • Participate in projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management. Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
  • Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
  • Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Demonstrates ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:

  • A current California State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
  • BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association.
  • The keen interest and ability to learn new skills in advanced radiology procedures such as Tomosynthesis, biopsies, and procedures.
  • Are resilient, adaptable and compassionate. Patients can be nervous about their exams; we look to you to provide a calm and friendly demeanor, and provide a professional and positive healthcare delivery experience.
  • Be quick thinking and have the ability to take appropriate action on-the-fly should an emergent situation arise.
