When you join us as an Associate Vice President of Clinical Operations, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

You Will:

  • Support Senior Vice President of Operations with special projects.
  • Monitor and assures compliance with Quality Assurance Programs.
  • Work with Contracting Manager and medical groups to develop business relationships.
  • Promote and supports the company’s vision, mission, and values.
  • Achieve targeted volumes for business unit and associated Joint Ventures.
  • Manage team members and business operations to achieve organizational objectives. 
  • Remain informed and anticipates potential pitfalls within the operation and works toward timely communication and resolution of issues. 
  • Prepare operating budgets, capital budgets and effectively analyzes performance against those budgets.
  • Effectively utilizes team members ensuring appropriate levels of productivity.
  • Manage costs and expenses appropriately.
  • Oversee financial management of the business unit.
  • Develop strategies to achieve individual and business unit goals.
  • Recommend or seeks out new business opportunities.
  • Work to increase retention and reduce avoidable turnover. 
  • Maintain employee morale and employee satisfaction at levels conducive to maintaining high productivity.
  • Set clear and specific expectations/objectives for employees and departments.
  • Monitor and documents performance during performance evaluation periods. 
  • Ensure that all performance evaluations are completed, conducted, and submitted on time.
  • Recognize and provides coaching, counseling, and discipline as appropriate.
  • Provide team members with support and motivation.
  • Exhibit objectivity and openness to other’s views
  • Demonstrate ability to balance team and individual responsibilities.
  • Promote flexibility in staff utilization across teams and departments.
  • Delegate work appropriately and follows through to ensure optimal results.
  • Provide team members development opportunities as appropriate.
  • Display willingness and ability to make difficult decisions.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment.
  • Integrate and implements new policies and procedures.         
  • Display a professional demeanor under all circumstances.      
  • Actively promote the practice and RadNet in all interactions with team members and outside vendors.
  • Engage in succession planning by identifying and mentoring a future Senior Director of Operations, Directors of Operations and Service Area Managers.
  • Responsible for project management and ensures that all renovations to existing and new facilities are completed on time and on budget.
  • Advocate change to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Assist managers as needed in meeting department and regional standards and objectives. 
  • Keep informed of RadNet policies and general conditions to provide input and propose solutions to problems whenever possible.
  • Work with Hospital and Joint Venture partners as appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned.

You Are Someone With:

  • A four-year degree in business administration or health care administration is preferred.
  • Ten or more years of experience in the radiology service industry and management experience is preferred.
  • An understanding of Contracting and experience working with medical groups is required.
  • A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record are required.

  • Ability to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making to achieve department and organizational objectives.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to share information effectively and provide appropriate direction to team members.
  • Ability to delegate responsibility and authority to team members.
  • Ability to maintain proactive relationship with referring physicians, joint venture and hospital partners.
  • Knowledge of state and federal health and safety regulations.
  • Knowledge of developing budgets, general computer skills, and Microsoft Office knowledge.
  • Demonstrates leadership skills in interactions with peers in senior management and company executives.
  • Maintains a “team” mentality within Clinical Operations and as a member of senior management.
