You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.</span></p><p></p><p><u><b>See Yourself as a Sr Principal, Quantitative Insurance Modeler</b></u></p><p></p><p>The Sr Principal Quantitative Insurance Modeler will be responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of advanced (re)insurance risk models. This role requires expertise in programming, data analysis, and statistical modeling to support business decision-making and ensure the effective management of credit and portfolio risk. This position requires extensive experience across multiple lines of insurance such as casualty, specialty and mortgage as well as others.</p><p></p><p><u><b>See Your Primary Duties and Responsibilities</b></u></p><ul><li><p>Develop and maintain code to support model estimation, implementation, monitoring, and back testing.</p></li><li><p>Manipulate and analyze large datasets to identify trends and make recommendations or adjustments to credit and portfolio guidelines.</p></li><li><p>Conduct model development and research new methodologies to enhance model performance and accuracy.</p></li><li><p>Prepare analytical presentations and communicate strategic business findings and recommendations to management.</p></li><li><p>Apply expert knowledge in probability modeling, mathematics, statistics, and econometrics to solve complex business challenges.</p></li><li><p>Leverage cloud computing platforms for data analysis and model deployment.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate effectively within a team environment.</p></li><li><p>Summarize and present key findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.</p></li><li><p>Conduct catastrophe global risks modeling, including hazard, vulnerability, financial modules, event sets, frequency-severity modeling, loss distributions, and tail risk metrics.</p></li><li><p>Perform portfolio and reinsurance structuring: quota share, excess of loss, catastrophe bonds, optimization, pricing, and accumulation management.</p></li><li><p>Perform model governance functions: validation, benchmarking, back testing, documentation, audit readiness.</p></li><li><p>Ensure adherence to regulatory/capital requirements: Solvency II, IFRS 17, NAIC, ORSA, stress testing.</p></li><li><p>Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><u><b>See the Job Specifications</b></u></p><p></p><p><b>Your Basic Education and Prior Work-Related Experience</b>:</p><p>Degree Requirement: Master's Degree or Equivalent Experience<br />Degree Preferred: PHD</p><p>Work Experience: 10 years of prior work related experience</p><p></p><p><b>Additional Qualifications </b></p><ul><li><p>Advanced programming skills for data analysis and modeling (catastrophe, risk modeling).</p></li><li><p>Strong mathematical, statistical, and econometric background.</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make sound business recommendations.</p></li><li><p>Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.</p></li><li><p>Experience in financial services, credit risk modeling, or portfolio risk management.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated success in presenting analytical findings to senior management.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to credit and portfolio risk.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><u><b>See Why You Should Work With Us</b></u></p><ul><li><p><b><span>Competitive Compensation</span></b><span>: anticipated <span>base salary </span></span><span>from $141,000 to $230,000</span><span> based on skills and experience.
