You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.</span></p>See Yourself as a Quantitative Analytics Analyst<br><br>Develop and maintain Python based analytical frameworks and data models to support Quantitative Analytics, Pricing, FP&A, and Portfolio Management. Valuation, analysis, and modeling of mortgage related assets and securities. This role will work with internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts across the organization.<p><u><b>See Your Primary Duties and Responsibilities</b></u></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain analytical frameworks, and data models to support Pricing, FP&A, Portfolio Management and Structured Products.</li><li>Analyze and process loan level data sets locally and within cloud based (AWS/Azure) platforms. </li><li>Perform data exploration and analysis on structured and unstructured data sets.</li><li>Develop and maintain return frameworks and deliverables.</li><li>Apply skill sets in the valuation and analysis and modeling of mortgage related assets and securities.</li><li>Create efficient and readable code sets to support model execution and processes.</li><li>Collaborate with team members on the development and maintenance of distributed code frameworks within AWS and Azure platforms.</li><li>Continuously evaluate new and existing models and methods for improvements.</li><li>Maintain accurate version control and documentation.</li><li>Complete monitoring, stress testing and validation of models across the organization.</li><li>Create and present clear and concise analytical presentations to senior management.</li><li>Development and maintenance of cloud-based frameworks to support ongoing and new efforts.</li><li>Monitoring and validation of models within QA and external groups.</li><li>Version control and documentation.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.</li></ul><p></p><p><u><b>See the Job Specifications</b></u></p><p></p><p><b>Basic Education and Prior Work-Related Experience</b>:</p><ul><li>Degree Requirement: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience</li><li>Work Experience: 2 or more years of prior work-related experience</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Additional Qualifications</b><b>:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree - Risk Management, Finance, Computer Science or Mathematics (Risk Management, Statistics and/or Mathematics preferred).</li><li>High proficiency in the development and maintenance of analysis and modeling. </li><li>Background in financial concepts and metrics (Discounted Cash Flow Methods, Returns, Financial Analysis).</li><li>Knowledge of mortgage and insurance related concepts.</li><li>2-3 years of experience within an analytical group.</li><li>Experience in data analysis using scripting languages (Python, SQL, or R).</li><li>Experience analyzing mortgages or mortgage related assets.</li><li>High level of motivation and intellectual curiosity. </li><li>Ability to research and create new analysis and methods.</li><li>Strong work ethic and independent problem-solving capabilities.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively and present results.</li></ul><p></p><p><u><b>See Why You Should Work With Us</b></u></p><div><ul><li><p><b><span>Competitive Compensation</span></b><span><span>: </span><span>anticipated</span><span><span> </span></span></span><span><span>base salary</span><span><span> </span>from $71</span><span>,000</span><span><span> </span>to $108,000</span></span><span><span><span> </span></span><span>based on skills and experience.
