You & Your Job

Guide Rabobank through the complexities of information security by providing strategic direction, safeguarding compliance, and acting as a trusted advisor. Collaborate with business departments, IT teams, and senior management to ensure a secure and resilient digital environment. As an Information Security Officer, you will create focus, align priorities, and maintain oversight of security activities, making a real difference every day.

Top 5 responsibilities

• You align and cooperate with security and tech teams to achieve our security goals. 

• You provide guidance and advise on security topics with the concerning domain (e.g. defining plan of approach for change initiatives/challengeand setting priorities within your domain). You work cross-functionally with senior stakeholders including senior management.

• You  identify overarching risks by recognizing patterns and steer from a broad perspective.

• You have a deep understanding of security risk management and security standards, identify security patterns early to prevent potential issues and support a proactive risk management approach. As an independent expert, you translate complex security topics into actionable insights for (non-technical) stakeholders

• You coach and guide junior and medior security officers and effectively educate peers and stakeholders on security. You maintain oversight of security activities and make sure to prioritize current and upcoming activities.

As an Information Security Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding the independent role of security, monitoring trends, and ensuring preventive measures are in place.

You & your talent

• Academic working and thinking level (WO).

• Qualified in key security certifications such as CISSP and CISM.

• Proven experience in IT Risk Management and Security within an international setting.

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Information Security, Risk Management or audit related work, preferably within the banking or financial services sector at a senior level.

• Experience in providing advice and support at C-level.

• Demonstrated capability in stakeholder management.

• It is considered an advantage if you have proficiency in the Dutch language.
